Terms and Conditions
(Classic Portrait Photography – Ireland)
1. Copyright
Under the Copyright and Related Rights Act 2000 (Ireland), Classic Portrait Photography retains full copyright ownership of all images created during your portrait session.
It is a criminal offence to copy, screen-grab, scan, reproduce, or alter any photographs without prior written permission from Classic Portrait Photography.
High-resolution digital images purchased from Classic Portrait Photography are licensed for personal use only, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Commercial use, resale, or publication of images is not permitted without written consent.

2. Image Usage & Model Release
Images created during your photographic session may be used by Classic Portrait Photography for display, portfolio, and marketing purposes, including on social media platforms, printed brochures, studio displays, and my website gallery.
This helps potential clients see the style and quality of my work.
If you prefer your images not to be used for these purposes, please notify me in writing at the time of booking.
Classic Portrait Photography will always respect your privacy and will never share images that could cause embarrassment or discomfort.

3. Booking Fee & Payment
A non-refundable booking fee of €50 is required to confirm and secure your session date and time.
This amount will be deducted from the total cost of your photographic session.
If you need to reschedule, you may do so once, with at least 48 hours’ notice, and your booking fee will be transferred to your new session date.
Failure to give sufficient notice or failure to attend your session will result in the loss of the booking fee.
The remaining balance is payable on or before the day of your session. Payment can be made by cash, card.

4. Session Conduct
To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience, clients are asked to arrive on time for their session. Late arrivals may result in reduced shooting time.
The use of video recording devices or mobile phones/cameras is not permitted during your session.
Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children and ensuring they behave safely and appropriately on the premises.

5. Image Delivery & Retouching
Preview or proof images will be made available within approximately 2–3 weeks (unless otherwise stated) of your session.
Final images are provided in digital format (unless otherwise stated) once full payment has been received.
Classic Portrait Photography takes great care in the editing and delivery process, but please understand that artistic style and interpretation are part of the creative process, and results may vary.

6. Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR)
Classic Portrait Photography complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Personal information collected (such as your name, contact details, and photographs) is used solely for the purpose of providing photography services, communication, and record-keeping.
Your data will never be shared or sold to third parties.
Upon delivery, digital images may be retained for an unspecified period. It is the client’s responsibility to download and securely store their own copies of all digital images/files.
If you would like your personal data or images to be deleted after delivery, you may request this in writing at any time.

7. Liability & Safety
Classic Portrait Photography takes all reasonable care to ensure the safety of clients and their belongings. You agree the studio will not be held liable for any injury or damage caused to you, your pets or your property during or as a result of the shoot.
In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, or unforeseen circumstances beyond my control, Classic Portrait Photography’s liability is limited to rescheduling the session or refunding any session fees paid.

8. Force Majeure
In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as illness, or emergencies that prevent Classic Portrait Photography from carrying out the session, we will contact you as soon as possible to reschedule. No further compensation will be offered.

9. Agreement
By booking a photographic session with Classic Portrait Photography, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all the terms and conditions outlined above.
